Hi! ’m Maria and I’ve worked with teenagers for over 20 years—starting at 19, teaching English in local language schools while I was at university.

After qualifying as a Secondary School Teacher, I spent over 13 years teaching English, Communications, and Cultural Studies in secondary schools across London and Dorset, supporting hundreds of students through their GCSEs and A Levels.

In 2018, I stepped out of the classroom and into coaching and mentoring, working more closely with teenagers and their parents.

Since then, I’ve supported 50+ young people 1:1 to help them prepare for their public exams focusing not just on revision, but on building the self-belief and structure they need to work steadily and feel more in control.

In 2021, I trained with the Self-Belief Coaching Academy and became an ICF-accredited Life Coach. I’ve also written for publications including The iPaper, Good Housekeeping, The Week Junior and Planet Mindful.

Now, I combine my experience from both teaching and coaching to help families approach exams in a calmer, clearer, and more effective way.

And in this workshop, I’ll walk you through the exact process I use with my 1:1 clients to create a revision plan that actually works.

The Easter hols are one of the most important revision windows.

But for most families, it quickly turns into:

  • “I’ll start later…”

  • Half-done plans

    Frustration, pressure, and last-minute stress

Not because your teen doesn’t care.

But because they don’t know how to turn:
“I need to revise everything”
into
“Here’s what I’m doing today.”

This is where my Calm Revision Method comes in.

In this live session, I’ll guide you through the exact 3-step process I use with my 1:1 clients:

✔️ Step 1: Start with Real Life

We plan rest, fun, and downtime first so that the timetable actually feels doable.

✔️ Step 2: Build a Balanced Structure

We map subjects across the two weeks so everything gets covered (without cramming or avoidance).

✔️ Step 3: Make It Specific

We turn vague tasks into clear actions so that your teen knows exactly what to do each day.

This is the step that changes everything.

This is for you if:

  • Your teen doesn’t know where to start

  • You’re seeing avoidance or overwhelm creeping in

  • You want to support them without constant reminders

  • You want Easter to feel productive but not pressured

  • You want a clear plan for every day that focuses on quality revision

If this sounds like you and your teen, then join me on Wednesday 25th March at 7pm on Zoom

What you’ll need:

  • GCSE: at least 4 key topics per subject

  • A Level: around 14 sub-topics per subject

  • Exam boards for each subject

(Bring what you have—we’ll work with it.)

Does my teen need to come?

It works best if they do.

Because when teens are part of the process, they’re far more likely to follow the plan.

But if they won’t join, you can absolutely attend and create it for them.
